7.4(Thu) Luncheon Seminar
with Professor Yuichi Hosoya
The Word in Turmoil: How Will International Order be Transformed?

For our upcoming Luncheon Seminar, we welcome Mr. Yuichi Hosoya, professor of international politics at Keio University, Tokyo.

The world around us is now in flux. The main causes for this turmoil include the change in global power balance due to the rapid rise of two emerging powers, namely China and India. Furthermore, the combination of unpredictable foreign policy of the Trump administration and the division caused by the shadow of Brexit mark the rise of nationalist populism and the downfall of liberal democracy, according to Professor Yuichi Hosoya.

Based on his historical research, Professor Hosoya will discuss the nature of this turmoil in world politics today and also the way to overcome difficulties which are now emerging.

Date July 4 (Thu), 2019

Fee ¥7,000 per person (Lunch, seminar)
