In this lesson, children will learn Japanese table manners for kaiseki cuisine, taught in a fun, engaging way. The term “kaiseki” (or “cha-kaiseki”) originally referred to the food served before receiving tea at a tea ceremony.
As attendees enjoy a special kaiseki menu, Chef Osada from ‘hyakumi-an’ will introduce the finer points of Japanese table etiquette as well as offer explanations on Japanese aesthetics and how the dishes relate.
